Ujjain: The City of Mahakal

Your spiritual journey begins upon arrival in Indore, followed by a transfer to the ancient city of Ujjain on the banks of the Shipra River. Known as the Greenwich of India, Ujjain is a timeless center of astronomical and spiritual significance. After checking into your hotel, proceed for darshan at the Mahakaleshwar Temple, home to one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and famous for its powerful Bhasma Aarti. In the evening, visit Ram Ghat, the Sandipani Ashram (associated with Lord Krishna's education), the revered Bada Ganesh, and the Harsiddhi Mata Temple (a Shakti Peeth) to soak in the divine atmosphere.

Day - 2

Mandu: The City of Joy

We drive south to Mandu, a fortress town perched on a rocky outcrop, celebrated for its Afghan architecture and the legendary romance of Prince Baz Bahadur and Rani Roopmati. Explore the Jahaz Mahal (Ship Palace), which appears to float between two lakes, and the Hindola Mahal with its unique sloping walls. Visit the majestic Jami Masjid and Hoshang Shah's Tomb, India's first marble edifice said to have inspired the Taj Mahal. End the day at Roopmati’s Pavilion, originally an army observation post that became a queen's retreat offering sweeping views of the Narmada valley.

Day - 3

Maheshwar to Omkareshwar: Forts & Weaves

Depart for the holy town of Omkareshwar, stopping en route at Maheshwar, the "Varanasi of Madhya Pradesh." Visit the riverside Ahilyabai Fort & Palace, a symbol of the Holkar dynasty's power and piety. Admire the exquisite architecture of the Ek Mukhi Datta Temple and the Raja Rajeshwari Temple. Omkareshwar to Indore: Sacred Islands

Begin the day with a spiritual visit to the Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and the ancient Mamleshwar Temple on the opposite bank of the Narmada. You may opt for a serene boat ride on the river to view the ghats from the water. Later, drive to Indore, India's cleanest city and a vibrant trading hub. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
