Day - 1
Manila Arrival: Capital Welcome
We touch down in Manila, the bustling capital of the Philippines. After a warm meet and greet at the airport, we transfer smoothly to the hotel. You have the rest of the evening to settle in and rest before exploring the historic city tomorrow.
Day - 2
Manila Heritage: Walled Cities and Distilleries
We dive into Manila’s rich heritage, starting with a unique stop at the Destileria Limtuaco Museum. Here, we trace the history of the country's oldest distillery and enjoy a curated wine tasting. Next, we enter the historic walled city of Intramuros. We visit San Agustin Church, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the grand Manila Cathedral. We walk the ramparts of Fort Santiago, where national hero José Rizal was imprisoned, and pay respects at the expansive Rizal Park. We view the Cultural Center of the Philippines before enjoying an Indian lunch and a shopping tour.
Day - 3
Manila to Cebu: Flight to the Queen City
After breakfast, we check out and transfer to the airport for a short domestic flight to Cebu, known as the "Queen City of the South." Upon landing, our representative meets us for a seamless transfer to the hotel. You have the evening free to relax and prepare for the coastal adventures ahead.
Day - 4
Cebu & Mactan: Shrines, Guitars, and Views
We explore the twin cities of Cebu and Mactan. Our journey begins at the colorful Taoist Temple, offering scenic views of the city. We step into history at Magellan’s Cross and the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño, the country's oldest Roman Catholic church. We visit the Heritage of Cebu Monument and the 17th-century Yap-San Diego Ancestral House. Crossing to Mactan, we observe local craftsmanship at the Alegre Guitar Factory and visit the Liberty Shrine, honoring the local hero Lapu-Lapu.
Day - 5
South Cebu: Whale Sharks and Turquoise Falls
We wake up early for a scenic drive to the southern coast of Oslob. Here, we have the rare opportunity to swim and snorkel alongside the gentle giants of the sea, the Whale Sharks. After this close encounter, we travel to the lush jungles of Badian to visit Kawasan Falls. We take a refreshing dip in the famous cool, turquoise waters of this multi-tiered cascade. After a local lunch, we return to the city for the night.
Day - 6
Cebu Departure: Island Farewell
We enjoy a final breakfast in Cebu. After checking out, we transfer you to the airport two to three hours before your flight. You depart with cherished memories of the Philippines as you head home.
