Day - 1
Saigon Arrival: Colonial Landmarks and Market Buzz
We arrive at the airport in Saigon and freshen up before exploring the city's French colonial heritage. We view the exterior of the Notre-Dame Basilica and visit the historic Central Post Office, a masterpiece designed by Gustave Eiffel. Next, we visit the War Remnants Museum, which houses a profound collection of exhibits and documentation from the conflicts with France and America. The day concludes with free time to shop at the bustling Ben Thanh Market before our overnight stay.
Day - 2
Saigon to Cu Chi: Exploring the Underground City
We start with breakfast in Saigon before driving northwest to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels. This incredible 120-kilometer web of underground passages was dug entirely by hand. It served as a critical resistance base against both French and American forces. You will see how the complex functioned as a complete subterranean village, featuring meeting rooms, kitchens, clinics, and supply depots capable of withstanding heavy bombardment. This visit offers a stark look at the resilience required for guerrilla warfare before we return to the city for the night.
Day - 3
Da Nang Arrival: Flight and Evening Meal
Following breakfast and checkout, we transfer to the airport for the flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival in this central coastal hub, we head directly to dinner. We then settle into our hotel for the overnight stay.
Day - 4
Da Nang to Ba Na Hills: Golden Bridge and Fantasy Park
After breakfast, we depart from Da Nang for a full-day tour to Ba Na Hills. We ride the renowned cable car to the mountain resort, then visit the iconic Golden Bridge, known for its unique 'hand' supports. You will have free time to enjoy the various attractions and games at the indoor Fantasy Park. In the late afternoon, we return to Da Nang for a free evening and overnight stay.
Day - 5
Da Nang Highlights and Hoi An Evening
After breakfast, we explore Da Nang, stopping to view the impressive steel Dragon Bridge and browse the local stalls at Han Market. We also drive to the peninsula to visit the Lady Pagoda, famed for its tall white statue overlooking the sea. Following lunch, we travel to Hoi An for a walking tour of its ancient, yellow-walled streets. The day ends with a scenic Lantern Boat Ride on the river before we return to Da Nang for the night.
Day - 6
Hanoi Arrival: Lakes, Legends, and Ba Dinh Square
After breakfast and a flight to Hanoi, we meet our guide and head downtown for lunch. We immerse ourselves in the capital's daily life with a walking tour through the bustling narrow streets of the Old Quarter and around the scenic Hoan Kiem Lake. Later, we visit the city's political center at Ba Dinh Square. Here, we explore the Ho Chi Minh Complex, viewing the Mausoleum exterior, his humble House-on-Stilts, and the historic One-Pillar Pagoda. We then transfer to our hotel for the night.
Day - 7
Hanoi to Sapa: High Peaks and Glass Bridges
We leave Hanoi after breakfast for the misty highlands of Sapa. Set deep in the Hoang Lien Son Mountains, this town overlooks the iconic rice terraces of the Muong Hoa Valley and is home to the Hmong and Dao hill tribes. We visit the spectacular Rong May Glass Bridge (Cloud Dragon), a transparent walkway that extends from the cliffside, offering thrilling, unobstructed views of the dramatic landscape below. We spend the night in the cool air of Sapa.
Day - 8
Sapa's Summit: Views from Fansipan
After breakfast, we ascend Fansipan Mountain, widely celebrated as the "Roof of Indochina." As the highest peak in the region, it provides spectacular panoramic outlooks over the lush Sapa valleys, thick forests, and distant tribal villages below. After soaking in the majestic scenery of the northern mountains, we return for our overnight stay in Sapa.
Day - 9
Sapa to Hanoi: Village Trails and Waterfalls
Following breakfast and checkout, we descend into the Muong Hoa Valley to explore Cat Cat Village. This trek offers an intimate look at local H'mong traditions, passing wooden huts and emerald rice terraces. We cross the Si Bridge, where vendors display handmade crafts and corn wine, before reaching the cascading Tien Sa Waterfalls. After watching a traditional cultural performance, we depart the mountains and transfer back to Hanoi for our overnight stay.
Day - 10
Hanoi to Halong: Dragon Bay and Limestone Karsts
We check out and travel east from Hanoi through the lush Red River Delta, watching local farming life pass by. We arrive at Halong Bay, the UNESCO-listed "Descending Dragon" of the Gulf of Tonkin. Upon boarding our overnight cruise, we enjoy lunch while navigating through thousands of dramatic limestone karsts. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring hidden grottoes, swimming, or kayaking near traditional floating houses. The experience continues on board with a cooking demonstration and dinner, followed by a peaceful evening on the water.
Day - 11
Halong Morning to Hanoi Departure
We recommend an early start to witness the miraculous sunrise over the East Sea and the limestone karsts of Halong Bay. After breakfast, the ship cruises past unique rock formations, each named for its distinct shape, such as Sail Island, Fisherman’s Head, and Turtle Islet. We check out of the cabins and enjoy a final brunch on board as the vessel returns to the pier. We then disembark and transfer directly to the airport in Hanoi for your return flight, concluding our services.
