Itinerary

Day - 1

Baku Arrival: The City of Winds

Touch down at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and meet your representative for a seamless transfer to your hotel. After checking in at 14:00, the rest of the day is yours to get acquainted with Baku. Known as the "City of Winds," the capital offers a striking mix of Soviet history and futuristic architecture. Take a walk along the Caspian Sea promenade or explore the downtown area before settling in for the night.

Day - 2

Ancient Flames to Modern Curves

Experience the stark contrasts of Azerbaijan, starting with the "Land of Fire" heritage at Yanar Dag, where natural gas has kept a hillside burning for centuries. Continue to the Ateshgah Fire Temple, a historic site of Zoroastrian pilgrimage. Back in the city, admire the ultra-modern, wave-like architecture of the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by Zaha Hadid, and explore the classic vehicles at the Vintage Car Museum housed within.

Day - 3

Citadels and Canals

Immerse yourself in the capital's rich culture, starting with a journey back in time in the UNESCO-listed Old City (Icherisheher) to view the Maiden Tower. Shift to the modern waterfront for a gondola ride through the canals of Little Venice and a visit to the unique Carpet Museum, shaped like a rolled rug. Conclude your day with a stroll down the vibrant Nizami Street, famous for its grand facades and luxury shopping.

Day - 4

Shahdag Escape

Leave the coastal capital for a day trip to the majestic Shahdag region near the Russian border. Nestled in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, this area is defined by its deep valleys, ancient glaciers, and pristine alpine lakes. Upon arrival, take a scenic cable car ride to the higher peaks to breathe in the crisp mountain air and admire panoramic vistas of the rugged landscape before returning to Baku for the night.

Day - 5

Gabala Adventure: Lakes and Peaks

Check out and drive to the scenic region of Gabala, wrapped in the Caucasus foothills. Ride the cable car at Tufandag Mountain Resort for panoramic views and relax by the reflective waters of Nohur Lake. Hike to the Yeddi Gozel (Seven Beauties) Waterfall and visit the local shooting center. Before checking into your Gabala hotel, explore the local market to taste regional delicacies like honey and jam.

Day - 6

Prehistoric Return: Mud and Rock Art

Depart Gabala and travel back towards the coast, stopping at Gobustan National Park. This UNESCO site preserves thousands of rock engravings dating back to the Mesolithic period. Nearby, witness the strange geological phenomenon of bubbling Mud Volcanoes—Azerbaijan is home to nearly half of the world's total. After exploring these prehistoric wonders, complete your journey back to Baku for your final night.

Day - 7

Baku Departure: Mall and Memories

Spend your final morning indulging in a shopping tour at Ganjlik Mall, the city's largest retail hub featuring over 80 stores and entertainment venues. Pick up some last-minute souvenirs and enjoy the modern amenities before your transfer takes you to the airport for your flight back to India, concluding your Azerbaijani adventure.
