Itinerary

Day - 1

Varanasi to Bodhgaya: The Awakening

Your pilgrimage commences upon arrival in Varanasi, where we immediately embark on a journey to Bodhgaya, the cradle of Buddhism. As you traverse the Gangetic plains to Bihar, prepare to enter a sanctuary of profound peace. This UNESCO World Heritage site marks the sacred spot where Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and soak in the international spiritual ambiance, where monks from global monasteries gather in silent reverence.

Day - 2

Bodhgaya to Varanasi: Trees of Wisdom

Dedicate the morning to the spiritual core of Bodhgaya. Meditate in the shadow of the Bodhi Tree at the Mahabodhi Temple and marvel at the 80-foot Great Buddha Statue seated in a giant lotus. Visit Sujata Kuti, a stupa honoring the milk-rice offering that broke Buddha's fast. After absorbing this tranquility, we drive back to Varanasi. The return journey transitions you from the land of Buddha’s enlightenment to the eternal city of Shiva.

Day - 3

Varanasi to Ayodhya: Stupas & Sermons

Rise before the sun for a boat ride on the Ganges, witnessing the "Subah-e-Banaras"—the waking rituals of the ghats and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Later, visit Sarnath, where Buddha preached his first sermon amidst ancient ruins. Leaving the Buddhist trail, we drive to Ayodhya, the divine capital of the Solar Dynasty. Check into your hotel on the banks of the Sarayu River, preparing to explore the birthplace of Lord Rama.

Day - 4

Ayodhya to Prayagraj: The Kingdom of Ram

Walk the path of the Ramayana today. Ascend the fortress-like Hanuman Garhi, then visit the profound Ram Janmabhoomi. Explore the Kanak Bhawan (House of Gold) and the symbolic Sita Ki Rasoi (Sita’s Kitchen). Having paid homage to the birth of an avatar, we drive to Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad). Check into your hotel in this "City of Offerings," located at the confluence of India's holiest rivers.

Day - 5

Chitrakoot: The Forest of Exile

Embark on a day trip to Chitrakoot, the forested hill town where Lord Rama spent his exile. Visit Ram Ghat on the Mandakini River, where Tulsidas is said to have met the Lord. Pay homage at the Bharat Milap Temple and Janki Kund, Sita’s ancient bathing spot. Circumambulate the wish-fulfilling Kamadgiri Hill, absorbing the forest's divine energy, before returning to Prayagraj for the night.

Day - 6

Prayagraj to Varanasi: The Sacred Sangam

Begin the day at the holy Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati. Visit the reclining idol at Bade Hanuman Mandir, the historic Anand Bhawan museum, and the Mughal tombs at Khusro Bagh. We then drive back to Varanasi. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a spectacle of fire and chants that honors the sacred river, bringing your journey full circle.

Day - 7

Varanasi: Temples of the Soul

Before departure, explore Varanasi’s spiritual architecture. Seek blessings at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple and the Tulsi Manas Mandir, where the Ramcharitmanas was scripted. Visit the unique Bharat Mata Mandir, housing a relief map of undivided India, and the red-hued Durga Temple. We then transfer you to the airport or railway station, concluding a journey that bridged the holiest sites of enlightenment and epic history.
