Itinerary

Day - 1

Baku Arrival: The City of Winds

Touch down at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and meet your representative for a transfer to your hotel. Settle into Baku, the dynamic capital of Azerbaijan known as the "City of Winds," where ancient stone walls stand against futuristic skyscrapers. Spend your first evening relaxing or taking a preliminary stroll along the Caspian Sea promenade to absorb the city's unique blend of East and West before retiring for the night.

Day - 2

Land of Fire: Temples and Curves

Explore the roots of Azerbaijan's "Land of Fire" moniker, starting at the Ateshgah Fire Temple, a 17th-century site of pilgrimage for Zoroastrians built atop natural gas vents. Witness the eternal flames at Yanar Dag, a hillside that has been burning continuously for centuries. Contrast this ancient heat with the fluid, ultra-modern architecture of the Heydar Aliyev Center, a Zaha Hadid masterpiece, where you can also view a collection of classic vintage cars.

Day - 3

Baku Highlights: Carpets and Citadels

Dive into the city's culture, starting with the Carpet Museum, an architectural gem shaped like a rolled rug that houses the nation's weaving heritage. Enjoy a gondola ride through the canals of Little Venice on the boulevard before stepping back in time in the UNESCO-listed Old City (Icherisheher) to see the Maiden Tower. Conclude the day with a walk down the vibrant Nizami Street, famous for its grand facades and luxury shopping.

Day - 4

Prehistoric Azerbaijan: Mud and Rock Art

Travel southwest to Gobustan National Park, a rocky landscape that preserves thousands of petroglyphs dating back to the Mesolithic era. Nearby, witness the strange geological phenomenon of bubbling Mud Volcanoes—Azerbaijan is home to nearly half of the world's total. Upon returning to the city, switch gears for a modern shopping experience at Ganjlik Mall, the largest in Baku, to pick up souvenirs and enjoy the entertainment facilities.

Day - 5

Gabala Escape: Alpine Lakes and Falls

Embark on a full-day trip to Gabala, a scenic region wrapped in the Caucasus Mountains. Ride the cable car at Tufandag Mountain Resort for panoramic alpine views and relax by the reflective waters of Nohur Lake. Hike to the Yeddi Gozel (Seven Beauties) Waterfall and visit the local shooting center. Before returning to Baku, stop at a local market to taste regional delicacies like honey and jam.

Day - 6

Baku Departure: Homeward Bound

Enjoy a final breakfast in the capital before checking out. A professional transfer takes you to the airport for your return flight to India, bringing your journey through the rich history and landscapes of Azerbaijan to a memorable close.
