Your trip in a nutshell
Itinerary
Day - 1
Varanasi: The Ancient Arrival
Your spiritual odyssey begins in Varanasi (Kashi), a city older than history itself. After settling into your hotel, head to the riverbanks for the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Watch as priests synchronize their movements with heavy brass lamps and rhythmic chants, honoring the River Ganges. This spectacle of fire, incense, and devotion creates an atmosphere that is both electric and deeply serene, setting the tone for your pilgrimage.
Day - 2
Varanasi to Ayodhya: Stupas & Sermons
Rise before dawn for a boat ride on the Ganges to witness the city's waking rituals and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Later, travel to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon amidst ancient stupas. Leaving the Buddhist heritage behind, we drive to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama. Check into your hotel in this holy city, located on the banks of the Sarayu River, and rest for the night.
Day - 3
Ayodhya & Chhapaiya: The Swaminarayan Trail
Today, we embark on a special excursion to Chhapaiya, a village of immense significance as the birthplace of Lord Swaminarayan. Visit the magnificent Swaminarayan Temple and the sacred Narayan Sarovar and Meen Sarovar lakes, revered sites for the Swaminarayan Sampraday. After paying homage to the life of Sahajanand Swami, return to Ayodhya for a peaceful evening in the land of Lord Rama.
Day - 4
Ayodhya to Prayagraj: The Kingdom of Ram
We traverse the sacred path of the Ramayana within Ayodhya. Ascend the steps to Hanuman Garhi, the fortress-temple where Lord Hanuman guards the city. Visit the profound Ram Janmabhoomi, followed by the opulent Kanak Bhawan (House of Gold) and the symbolic Sita Ki Rasoi. After soaking in the city's divine aura, we drive to Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), the city of offerings, and check in.
Day - 5
Prayagraj to Varanasi: The Sacred Sangam
Begin the day at the holy Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers. Visit the unique reclining idol at Bade Hanuman Mandir. Explore the Anand Bhawan museum, the ancestral home of the Nehru family, and the Mughal-era tombs at Khusro Bagh. After absorbing the history and spirituality of Prayagraj, we complete the circuit by driving back to Varanasi for the night.
Day - 6
Varanasi: Temples of the Soul
Before your departure, explore the diverse spiritual architecture of Varanasi. Seek blessings at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple and the Tulsi Manas Mandir. Marvel at the unique Bharat Mata Mandir, which houses a relief map of undivided India instead of idols, and visit the red-hued Durga Temple. We then transfer you to the airport or railway station, concluding a journey that bridged the holiest rivers and divine birthplaces.
