Itinerary

Day - 1

Fukuoka Arrival: Bronze Giants and Digital Forests

We land in Fukuoka and begin with a visit to the Nanzoin Temple to view the world's largest bronze reclining Buddha. The afternoon shifts to the interactive TeamLab Forest, a creative space where digital art meets physical movement, allowing you to catch and release virtual creatures in the Athletics Forest. We then check into the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day - 2

Fukuoka Environs: Steam Vents and Shopping

We travel to the famous onsen town of Beppu to witness the Hells (Jigoku), a collection of spectacular, steaming hot springs meant for viewing rather than bathing. Returning to Fukuoka, we explore the sprawling Canal City Hakata, a "city within a city" known for its fountain shows and diverse retail options before dinner.

Day - 3

Hiroshima & Miyajima: Peace and Floating Gates

A Bullet Train ride takes us to Hiroshima to pay respects at the Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Dome. We then ferry to Miyajima Island to admire the Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its vermilion torii gate that appears to float on the sea at high tide. We conclude by transferring by rail to the Kansai region.

Day - 4

Kyoto Classics and Osaka Neon

We explore Kyoto’s heritage, visiting the shimmering Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) and strolling the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. The evening is spent in Osaka’s electric Dotonbori district, navigating neon-lit canals and the covered Shinsaibashi shopping arcade to experience the city's vibrant food culture.

Day - 5

Nara Giants and Osaka History

We travel to Nara to see the colossal bronze Buddha at Todaiji Temple. Returning to Osaka, we walk through life-sized recreations of Edo-period streets at the Municipal Housing Museum and view the majestic architecture of Osaka Castle from its surrounding park before dinner.

Day - 6

Kobe & Tokushima: Engineering and Dance

We visit Kobe's Kawasaki Good Time World to explore industrial history. Crossing the massive Akashi Kaikyo suspension bridge, we reach Tokushima to watch the dynamic, traditional performances at the Awa Odori Kaikan. This cultural immersion into the "Fool's Dance" precedes our return to the hotel.

Day - 7

Nagoya Bound: Maglev Speed and Floral Lights

We transfer to Nagoya to visit the SC Maglev and Railway Park, showcasing high-speed rail history and future technology. The evening features the spectacular seasonal flower displays and illuminations at Nabana no Sato in Mie Prefecture before we check into our hotel.

Day - 8

Nagoya to Tokyo: Capital Orientation

We travel by road to Tokyo for a city orientation. We drive past the political heart at the National Diet Building and the serene Imperial Palace grounds, pausing for photos at the historic red-brick facade of Tokyo Station before checking in.

Day - 9

Hakone Excursion: Volcanic Valleys

We explore the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, visiting the port of Hakone-machi-ko on Lake Ashi. We then ascend to the active volcanic zone of Owakudani Valley to see sulfurous vents and taste the famous "black eggs" cooked in the hot springs, enjoying panoramic views of the landscape.

Day - 10

Tokyo Heights: Skytree and Cherry Moats

We ascend the Tokyo Skytree for 350-meter panoramic views before visiting the ancient Asakusa Temple. We conclude with a stroll through Chidorigafuchi Park, renowned for its scenic moats and greenways near the Imperial Palace.

Day - 11

Tokyo Pulse: Shibuya Scramble and Art

We witness the organized chaos of Shibuya Crossing and relax in the historic Ueno Park. We immerse ourselves in the mesmerizing aquatic displays of the Art Aquarium Museum before exploring the upscale boutiques of Ginza. We then transfer to the airport hotel for the final night.
