Day - 1
Bangalore: Tech & Tradition
Your South Indian odyssey begins upon arrival in the "Garden City." We immediately dive into its diverse character, starting with the HAL Aerospace Museum to witness India's aviation history. Next, admire the Tudor-style architecture of the Bangalore Palace, a royal residence echoing Windsor aesthetics. Drive past the imposing Vidhana Soudha, the seat of the state legislature, before seeking spiritual solace at the magnificent ISKCON Temple on Hare Krishna Hill.
Day - 2
Mysore: The City of Palaces
We depart for Mysore, stopping first at the historic Lalbagh Botanical Garden (if time permits) to admire its glasshouse and exotic flora. En route, visit Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace (Dariya Daulat Bagh) in Srirangapatna, known for its intricate teak interiors and frescoes. Upon reaching Mysore, check into your hotel. As evening falls, witness the musical fountains and illuminated terraces of the world-famous Brindavan Gardens, a visual treat located at the base of the KRS Dam.

Ooty: Ascent via Wildlife Trails
Start the day with a visit to the opulent Mysore Palace, a kaleidoscope of stained glass, mirrors, and Indo-Saracenic grandeur. We then begin the scenic drive to Ooty, the "Queen of Hill Stations." The route takes us through the Bandipur National Park, where you might spot elephants or deer in the wild as we cross the forest reserve. Upon arrival in the cool climes of the Nilgiris, check into your hotel and relax.
Day - 4
Ooty: Peaks & Gardens
Today is dedicated to the charm of the hills. Visit the sprawling Government Botanical Garden, home to rare trees and vibrant flower beds. Explore the unique Thread Garden and the Wax World Museum. Drive up to Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiris, for a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride or horse ride at the picturesque Ooty Lake before exploring the local market.
Day - 5
Ooty: Rails or Reservoirs
Choose your adventure today. You may opt for a nostalgic ride on the UNESCO-listed Nilgiri Mountain Railway (Toy Train) to Coonoor to see Dolphin’s Nose and Lamb’s Rock. Alternatively, embark on an excursion to the serene Pykara Lake for a speedboat ride and a visit to the waterfalls, followed by a jungle safari in the nearby Mudumalai National Park. Return to Ooty for a cozy evening.
Day - 6
Kodaikanal: The Princess of Hill Stations
We begin a scenic drive to Kodaikanal, descending one hill range and climbing another. This star-shaped lake town sits at 2,000 meters, surrounded by granite cliffs and forested valleys. En route, stop at the majestic Pine Forest for photos and perhaps a short nature walk. Upon arrival in Kodaikanal, check into your hotel and enjoy the cool, misty evening.
Day - 7
Kodaikanal: Valleys & Waterfalls
Explore the natural wonders of Kodaikanal today. Visit the towering Pillar Rocks, three massive granite boulders standing 400 feet high. Take in the breathtaking view of the Vaigai Dam from the Green Valley View. Explore Vattakanal Falls, a serene cascade nestled in the forest, perfect for a quiet picnic. End the day with a visit to India's first Wax Museum to see lifelike statues of historical figures.
Day - 8
Kodaikanal: Lakes & Chocolate
Start with a refreshing morning stroll along Coaker’s Walk, a paved pedestrian path offering stunning views of the plains. Visit the beautifully manicured Bryant Park, famous for its horticultural show. Admire the Gothic architecture of the Lutheran Church before indulging in a sweet tour of a Chocolate Factory to taste homemade delights. Spend your final evening boating on the iconic Kodai Lake or shopping for organic oils and spices at Anna Salai Market.
Day - 9
Departure: Farewell to the Hills
After breakfast, we bid farewell to the misty mountains. We drive to Coimbatore, enjoying the last views of the Western Ghats. Upon arrival, we transfer you to the airport or railway station for your onward connection, leaving you with memories of palaces, wildlife, and serene hill stations.
