Itinerary

Day - 1

Nainital: Ascent to the Lake District

Your Himalayan sojourn begins with a warm welcome at the airport or railway station. We embark on a scenic drive into the Kumaon region, ascending towards Nainital, popularly known as the "Lake District of India." This charming hill station, centered around the emerald Naini Lake, offers a refreshing escape from the plains. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and soak in the cool mountain air. The evening is yours to relax and watch the shimmering reflection of lights on the water, setting the mood for the days ahead.

Day - 2

Nainital: Highland Fauna & Three Lakes

Today, we explore the natural wonders surrounding the town. We visit the high-altitude Pt. G.B. Pant High Altitude Zoo, home to rare species like the Tibetan wolf and Snow Leopard. The journey continues to the "Lake District" triad: Bhimtal, with its island aquarium; Sattal, a cluster of seven interconnected freshwater lakes; and Naukuchiatal, the mysterious "Lake of Nine Corners." In the evening, stroll down the bustling Mall Road to admire and purchase unique, handcrafted candles—a local specialty that makes for perfect souvenirs.

Day - 3

Nainital: Colonial Heritage & Peaks

Dive deeper into the culture and vistas of this hill station. Begin with a spiritual visit to the Shakti Peeth of Naina Devi, guarding the lake's northern shore. Experience the colonial grandeur of the Raj Bhawan (Governor's House), designed in the Gothic style of Buckingham Palace. For breathtaking panoramas, take the aerial ropeway to Snow View Point or enjoy a pony ride to Tiffin Top. Conclude the day with a quintessential boat ride on the pear-shaped Naini Lake, gliding peacefully surrounded by seven majestic hills.

Day - 4

Kausani: The Switzerland of India

We bid adieu to Nainital and drive to Kausani, a picturesque hamlet often compared to Switzerland for its breathtaking beauty. Famous for its unobstructed, 300-km-wide panoramic view of the Himalayan range, this destination is a photographer's dream. From your vantage point, witness the majestic peaks of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Panchchuli. The highlight here is the sunset; as the sun dips, the snow-capped peaks turn into shades of gold and crimson, offering a spectacle that will remain etched in your memory forever.

Day - 5

Corbett: The Roar of History

Leaving the high peaks, we descend to the foothills to enter the realm of the Royal Bengal Tiger. We arrive at Jim Corbett National Park, India's oldest national park and the birthplace of Project Tiger. The landscape shifts to dense Sal forests and riverine belts. After checking in, enjoy a serene nature walk along the banks of the Kosi River. This area is a birdwatcher's paradise, offering a chance to spot river lapwings and kingfishers while soaking in the raw sounds of the jungle as twilight falls.

Day - 6

Corbett: Tracking the Wild

Today is dedicated to the thrill of the safari. You have the opportunity to venture deep into the reserve's core zones, such as Dhikala or Bijrani, aboard an open 4x4 Jeep. As you traverse the grasslands and forest tracks, keep a keen eye out for tigers, wild elephants, sloth bears, and spotted deer. The early morning mist and the golden light of the afternoon offer two distinct perspectives of the wild. Note: Safari bookings are subject to availability and forest department regulations.

Day - 7

Departure: The Homeward Journey

After a final breakfast amidst the wilderness, we begin our return journey. Our representative will drive you to the airport or railway station for your onward connection. You depart with a camera full of memories, from the tranquil lakes of Nainital to the majestic peaks of Kausani and the thrilling trails of Corbett.
