Itinerary

Day - 1

Cochin to Munnar

Arrive in Cochin and head straight into the cool hills of Munnar, once a cherished summer retreat for the British. Along the way, pause for scenic photo stops at the cascading Attukad Waterfalls and the panoramic Pothamedu viewpoint. On arrival, step into the Tata Tea Museum to explore the fascinating story of tea cultivation that shaped this picturesque hill station.

Day - 2

Munnar

A full day uncovering Munnar's natural treasures. Spot the rare Nilgiri Tahr at Eravikulam National Park, enjoy the serene beauty of Kundala Lake — home to the legendary Neelakurinji blooms — and take in the scenic surroundings of Mattupetty Dam amid tea plantations and rolling hills. Round off the day with an elephant encounter at Carmelagiri Elephant Park or a relaxed stroll through the flower-filled Blossom Park.

Day - 3

Munnar to Thekkady

Wind through dense forests and fragrant plantations en route to Thekkady, perched 2800 feet above sea level. Stop at a spice plantation to discover how cardamom and pepper are cultivated in this unique climate. In the evening, experience the dramatic artistry of a traditional Kathakali performance or witness the ancient martial art of Kalaripayattu.

Day - 4

Thekkady

Spend the day exploring Periyar Lake, South India's most celebrated wildlife sanctuary, where elephants, deer, and wild boar roam freely along the shoreline. Glide across the water on a boat safari, or for the more adventurous, embark on a bamboo rafting expedition through the dense forests of the Periyar Tiger Reserve.

Day - 5

Thekkady to Alleppey

Travel to Alleppey and step aboard a traditional Kettuvallam houseboat for an unforgettable night on the water. Drift through enchanting backwaters lined with lush green manors, with the vast Vembanad Lake — formed by the union of ten Malabar rivers — unfolding around you.

Day - 6

Alleppey to Kovalam/Poovar

Disembark and travel south to the idyllic coastal towns of Kovalam and Poovar, framed by swaying palms and dramatic headlands. At the famed Lighthouse Beach, dive into a range of water sports including parasailing, snorkelling, and windsurfing, or simply relax by the shore.

Day - 7

Kovalam/Poovar

Explore the cultural treasures of Trivandrum, beginning with the architecturally stunning Shri Padmanabhaswamy Temple and the regal Napier Museum. In the afternoon, venture to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India, where the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean converge — home to the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the towering Thiruvalluvar Statue.

Day - 8

Departure from Trivandrum

Transfer to Trivandrum Airport for your flight home, taking with you unforgettable memories of God's Own Country.
