Day - 1
Manila Arrival: Capital Welcome
We land in Manila, the vibrant capital of the Philippines. Upon exiting the airport, we meet our representative for a warm greeting and a smooth transfer to the hotel. You have the rest of the evening to settle in and rest before we begin our historical exploration tomorrow.
Day - 2
Manila Heritage: Spirits and Walled Cities
We dive into Manila's culture, starting with a unique visit to the Destileria Limtuaco Museum. Here, we learn about the country's heritage spirit-making and enjoy a wine tasting. Next, we enter Intramuros, the historic Spanish walled city. We walk the grounds of Fort Santiago, a former citadel and prison, and admire the architecture of the Manila Cathedral and the UNESCO-listed San Agustin Church. We pay respects at Rizal Park, dedicated to the national hero, and drive past the Cultural Center of the Philippines before enjoying an Indian lunch and a shopping tour.
Day - 3
Manila to Puerto Princesa: Flight to Palawan
After breakfast, we check out and transfer to the airport for the flight to Puerto Princesa in Palawan. Upon arrival in this nature-rich province, we transfer to the hotel to check in and prepare for the coastal adventures ahead.
Day - 4
Puerto Princesa: Subterranean Rivers or Island Hopping
Today, you choose your adventure in Puerto Princesa. The primary option is the Underground River, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We board a paddle boat to navigate the pitch-dark cavern, marveling at the massive stalactites and the diverse ecosystem of bats and swiftlets. Alternatively, you can choose the Honda Bay Tour for island hopping. This involves visiting Luli Island, Starfish Island, and Cowrie Island to swim, snorkel, and relax on white sandy beaches. We enjoy a local lunch before returning to the hotel.
Day - 5
Palawan to Cebu: Visayas Bound
We check out and transfer to the airport for our flight to Cebu. Upon landing in the central hub of the Visayas region, our representative meets us for a transfer to the hotel. You have the evening to settle in.
Day - 6
Cebu & Mactan: Temples, Shrines, and Guitars
We explore the twin cities of Cebu and Mactan. Our day begins with scenic views from the colorful Taoist Temple. We then step into history at the Heritage of Cebu Monument and the 17th-century Yap-San Diego Ancestral House. We visit the holy Basilica Minore Del Sto. Nino and the famous Magellan’s Cross. Crossing the bridge to Mactan, we see the Lapu-Lapu Monument and observe local craftsmanship at the Alegre Guitar Factory. We enjoy a local lunch during the tour.
Day - 7
Cebu Departure: Island Farewell
We enjoy a final breakfast in Cebu. Following check-out, we provide a professional transfer to the airport two to three hours before your flight. You depart with cherished memories of the Philippines as you head home.
