Your trip in a nutshell
Itinerary
Day - 1
Varanasi: The Ancient Arrival
Your spiritual immersion begins in Varanasi (Kashi), one of the world's oldest living cities. After a seamless transfer to your hotel, prepare for a mesmerizing evening at the Ghats. Witness the famous Ganga Aarti, a choreographed ceremony where priests use heavy brass lamps, incense, and rhythmic chants to honor the River Ganges. The synchronization of fire and devotion creates an atmosphere that is both electric and deeply serene.
Day - 2
Varanasi & Sarnath: Life, Death & Dharma
Rise before dawn for a boat ride on the Ganges to watch the city wake up. Witness morning rituals and the solemn burning ghats where life and death coexist. Visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Annapurna Temple. Later, travel to Sarnath, a quiet contrast to Varanasi's chaos. Here, amidst ancient stupas and museums, Lord Buddha preached his first sermon, making it a pivotal pilgrimage site for Buddhists and Jains.
Day - 3
Varanasi: Temples & Royal Forts
Today explores the city's diverse architecture. Visit Sankat Mochan (Hanuman) and the Tulsi Manas Mandir, engraved with verses from the Ramcharitmanas. See the unique Bharat Mata Mandir, which houses a relief map of India instead of idols, and the historic Durga Temple. Cross the river to explore the 18th-century Ramnagar Fort. Built in the Rajputana style by Kashi Naresh, this sandstone fortification offers a royal glimpse into the history of Banaras.
Day - 4
Departure: Spiritual Farewells
After a final breakfast, we transfer you to the airport or railway station. You depart with the spiritual resonance of Kashi and the enduring image of its timeless ghats.
