Your spiritual journey begins upon arrival in Varanasi, from where we immediately drive to Bodhgaya. This UNESCO World Heritage site is the most sacred place in Buddhism, marking the spot where Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and soak in the serene atmosphere where pilgrims from across the globe gather to pay homage.
Day - 2
Bodhgaya to Varanasi: Trees of Wisdom
Dedicate the morning to Bodhgaya's sacred sites. Meditate under the direct descendant of the original Bodhi Tree at the Mahabodhi Temple. Marvel at the towering Great Buddha Statue, a serene figure in meditation, and visit Sujata Kuti, the stupa honoring the woman who offered Buddha the life-saving rice pudding. After absorbing the tranquility, we drive back to Varanasi for an overnight stay in the City of Lights.
Day - 3
Varanasi to Ayodhya: Stupas & Sermons
Rise before dawn for a boat ride on the Ganges to witness the city's waking rituals and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Later, travel to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon amidst ancient stupas. Leaving the Buddhist heritage behind, we drive to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama. Check into your hotel in this holy city, located on the banks of the Sarayu River, and rest for the night.
Day - 4
Ayodhya to Prayagraj: The Kingdom of Ram
Today, we traverse the sacred path of the Ramayana. Ascend the steps to Hanuman Garhi, the fortress-temple where Lord Hanuman guards the city. Visit the profound Ram Janmabhoomi, the birthplace of Lord Rama, followed by the opulent Kanak Bhawan (House of Gold) and the symbolic Sita Ki Rasoi. After soaking in the city's divine aura, we drive to Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), the city of offerings, and check in.
Day - 5
Prayagraj to Varanasi: The Sacred Sangam
Begin the day at the holy Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers. Visit the unique reclining idol at Bade Hanuman Mandir. Explore the Anand Bhawan museum and the Mughal-era tombs at Khusro Bagh. We then drive back to Varanasi. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a spectacle of fire and chants that honors the sacred river.
Day - 6
Varanasi: Temples of the Soul
Before your departure, explore the diverse spiritual architecture of Varanasi. Seek blessings at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple and the Tulsi Manas Mandir. Marvel at the unique Bharat Mata Mandir, which houses a relief map of undivided India instead of idols, and visit the red-hued Durga Temple. We then transfer you to the airport or railway station, concluding a journey that bridged the holiest rivers and sites of enlightenment.
