Day - 1
Puri: The Peace Pagoda & Coastal Arrival
Your exploration of Odisha begins at Bhubaneswar Airport, where we immediately proceed towards the coast. The drive includes a poignant stop at Dhauli, the site of the ancient Kalinga War, now marked by a serene Peace Pagoda and Ashokan rock edicts. We also pause at Pipili, a vibrant town famed for its colorful Chandua appliqué handicrafts. Upon reaching Puri, check in and spend your evening on the Golden Beach, a Blue Flag certified stretch known for its eco-friendly amenities and pristine sands.
Day - 2
Konark: Sun Chariots & Heritage Crafts
Begin the day seeking blessings at the holy Jagannath Temple (entry restricted to Hindus). We then embark on an excursion to Konark, stopping en route at the heritage village of Raghurajpur, where every home doubles as a Pattachitra art studio. Continue to the majestic Sun Temple at Konark, a UNESCO World Heritage site designed as a colossal stone chariot. Visit the scenic Chandrabhaga Beach and the Ramachandi Temple before returning to Puri for the night.
Day - 3
Bhubaneswar: Rock Caves & Ancient Spires
After breakfast, we drive back to the capital, stopping to visit the Sakhigopal Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. Upon reaching Bhubaneswar, witness the towering grandeur of the Lingaraj Temple, a masterpiece of Kalinga architecture (non-Hindus view from outside). Conclude your trip with a walk through history at the Khandagiri and Udayagiri Caves, ancient rock-cut dwellings for Jain monks dating back to the 2nd century BCE. We ensure a timely drop at the airport for your onward connection.
