Day - 1

Gangtok: Gateway to the Himalayas

Your high-altitude adventure begins as we welcome you at the airport or railway station. We embark on a scenic drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, perched on a cloudy ridge. As you wind your way up along the Teesta River, the air turns crisp and the views become dramatic. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The evening is yours to settle in, perhaps taking a stroll along the famous MG Marg, a pedestrian promenade buzzing with local culture and mountain hospitality.

Day - 2

Gangtok: Glacial Lakes & Legends

Today, we ascend to the dizzying heights of the Silk Route. Our destination is the ethereal Tsomgo Lake, a glacial body of water that changes color with the seasons and is held sacred by the locals. Nearby, we visit the legendary Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to an Indian soldier believed to protect the border even after death. The stark, snow-dusted landscape offers a breathtaking contrast to the green valleys below. Note: Nathula Pass visit is subject to permit availability.

Day - 3

Lachung: Journey to the North

We leave the capital behind and head toward North Sikkim, a realm of raw alpine beauty. The drive to Lachung is an experience in itself, passing through quaint hamlets and rugged terrain. We stop at the spectacular Seven Sisters Waterfall and the Tashi View Point, which offers sweeping panoramas of Mount Kanchenjunga. Upon reaching the picturesque village of Lachung, surrounded by apple orchards and snow-capped peaks, check into your lodge for a cozy evening.

Day - 4

Lachung: The Valley of Flowers

Rise early for an excursion to Yumthang Valley, often called the "Valley of Flowers." majestic peaks surround this grazing pasture, where the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary bursts into color during spring. You can visit the natural Hot Springs believed to have medicinal properties or simply soak in the tranquility of the river flowing through the meadows. The landscape here is pristine, offering a true sense of Himalayan wilderness before we return to your hotel.

Day - 5

Gangtok: Return from the Heights

After a final breakfast amidst the alpine scenery, we retrace our scenic path back to Gangtok. The drive allows you to witness the changing vegetation from alpine scrub back to lush subtropical forests. Upon arrival in Gangtok, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at your leisure to relax or explore the local markets for traditional Sikkimese handicrafts and souvenirs.

Day - 6

Darjeeling: Monasteries & Tea Gardens

We begin the day exploring Gangtok’s cultural gems, including the Do-drul Chorten stupa, the Research Institute of Tibetology, and the vibrant Directorate of Handicrafts. In the afternoon, we drive to Darjeeling, the "Queen of Hills." As we approach, the landscape transforms into rolling slopes covered in emerald-green tea bushes. Check into your hotel and enjoy the colonial charm of this historic hill station.

Day - 7

Darjeeling: Sunrise & Snow Leopards

Start the day before dawn with a drive to Tiger Hill to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Kanchenjunga range. On the return, visit the historic Ghoom Monastery and the engineering marvel of the Batasia Loop. After breakfast, explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to the rare Red Panda and Snow Leopard. Conclude with a visit to the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, offering serene views of the town.

Day - 8

Departure: Farewell to the Hills

After a final breakfast overlooking the tea gardens, your Himalayan journey concludes. We ensure a comfortable transfer back to the airport or railway station for your onward connection, leaving you with memories of glacial lakes, flowery valleys, and golden sunrises.
