Day - 1
Siem Reap Arrival: The Rhythm of Apsara
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, our local guide greets you for a smooth transfer to the hotel. The evening immerses you in the region's rich heritage with a performance of the Apsara Dance. You will witness this centuries-old art form, characterized by elegant hand gestures and intricate costumes set to classical Khmer music. This captivating cultural introduction sets the tone for the trip before our overnight stay.
Day - 2
Angkor Highlights: The Great City and Temple
After breakfast, we enter the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom. We marvel at the famous Bayon Temple, known for its architectural complexity, and walk along the 300-meter Terrace of the Elephants, carved with royal processions. We also explore the massive Baphuon temple mountain and the intricate carvings of the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, we visit the legendary Angkor Wat, a wonder of the oriental world. We explore this masterpiece of Khmer architecture, admiring its decorative bas-reliefs and awe-inspiring scale that stand as a testament to Southeast Asia's greatest civilization. We then return to Siem Reap for the night.
Day - 3
Siem Reap to Hanoi: Jungle Ruins and Capital Shift
We dedicate the morning to the "Small Circuit" of Khmer temples. Highlights include Ta Prohm, famously overgrown by massive silk-cotton tree roots, and the imposing, unfinished sandstone pyramid of Ta Keo. We view the royal bathing reservoir at Srah Srang and inspect the detailed brick carvings at Prasat Kravan. We also stop at the paired temples of Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda. Following these explorations of the ancient empire, we transfer to the airport for the flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Vietnam, we check into the hotel to settle in for the night.
Day - 4
Hanoi to Ninh Binh: Ancient Capitals and Karsts
We travel south from Hanoi to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh. Here, we explore the historic temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le dynasties before visiting Tam Coc, a UNESCO site famous for its dramatic limestone scenery. Returning to the capital, we visit Ba Dinh Square to view the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the unique One-Pillar Pagoda. The day concludes with a traditional Cyclo tour weaving through the city streets, followed by our overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day - 5
anoi to Halong Bay: Delta Views and Dragon Cruise
We depart Hanoi for the coast, observing the pastoral life of the Red River Delta along the way. Upon arrival, we board an overnight cruise to explore Halong Bay, the UNESCO-listed "Descending Dragon" of the Gulf of Tonkin. As the vessel navigates the emerald waters and thousands of limestone karsts, we enjoy a fresh lunch on deck. The afternoon invites exploration, from visiting hidden grottoes to kayaking near traditional floating houses. The experience continues on board with a cooking demonstration and dinner, followed by a peaceful night on the water.
Day - 6
Hanoi to Da Nang: Flight and Coastal Dinner
Following breakfast and checkout, we transfer to the airport in Hanoi for the flight south to Da Nang. Upon landing in this vibrant central coastal city, we proceed directly to a local restaurant for dinner. We then head to the hotel to settle in for the night.
Day - 7
Da Nang Highlights and Hoi An Lanterns
We explore Da Nang's vibrant landmarks, starting with the bustling Han Market and the distinctive pink facade of the Da Nang Cathedral. We view the steel Dragon Bridge and the modern architecture of APEC Park before visiting the towering Lady Pagoda. After lunch, we travel to Hoi An for a walking tour through its preserved ancient streets. The evening concludes with a mesmerizing Lantern Boat Ride on the river, drifting among colorful lights before we return to Da Nang.
Day - 8
Ba Na Hills: Golden Bridge and French Cellars
We depart Da Nang for the misty heights of Ba Na Hills, ascending via the world-famous cable car system. At the summit, we walk the iconic Golden Bridge, held aloft by giant stone hands, and visit the historic French Wine Cellar and Linh Ung Pagoda. The afternoon is open for you to enjoy the indoor thrill rides and attractions at Fantasy Park. We descend in the late afternoon and return to the city for a free evening.
Day - 9
Da Nang to Saigon: Night Lights Bus Tour
We fly from Da Nang to Saigon, Vietnam's financial powerhouse. Upon arrival, we settle in before exploring the city's vibrant energy after dark. We board a Hop-on Hop-off bus for a night tour, witnessing the illuminated colonial architecture and bustling streets from a unique open-air vantage point. This orientation highlights the contrast between the city's historic roots and its modern dynamism before our overnight stay.
Day - 10
Saigon History: Tunnels and War Remnants
We travel northwest to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network that served as a resistance base during the war. You can crawl through a tunnel section to experience the harsh reality of life beneath the earth. Returning to Saigon, we deepen this historical perspective at the War Remnants Museum. Here, powerful exhibits and photography document the fierce struggle for independence, offering a raw look at the conflict before we return to the hotel.
Day - 11
Saigon Departure: Journey Home
We enjoy a final breakfast in Saigon. Following check-out, we ensure a smooth, professional transfer to the airport for your departure flight, bringing your journey to a close.
